For such an intense band, almost math in places but keeping to true grind, the acts break down into onslaughts of brutal hammered guitars and amazing double kicks and blastbeats. Suddenly, it all cuts out and, the crowd, screams out like a choir along to the Family Guy quotes which introduce the next onslaught. Despite this dark and brutal showing of raspy throats and heavy, well, everything, the lead man of the show stands on the barriers, cheering thr crowd on continually making them feel reassured "trust me, we're gonna have a good time. This is going to be fun". And he doesn't disapoint. 9/10 show for

flower half sleeve tattoosThis is my new tattoo. It's a Japanese-style half-sleeve on my left upper arm [windblocks, waves, peony flowers, and cherry blossom flowers]. I hate to admit it, but this was one of the worst pains I've ever had--I actually cried. I didn't even cry with my other big one. I didn't even think I'd be able to finish the outline it hurt so bad. I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was going to be THAT bad. It was aweful. Hopefully the shading/coloring won't hurt as bad. I'm guessing it will take AT LEAST two more sessions to finish it. At least it looks awesome though! It's going to be fabulous once it's finished!!

sleeve tattoo oldschoolwell this is it.Thats how it looks today.but bare in mind that my arm is actually double the normal size as after 6hrs under a needle im very bruised and swollen,plus the background will fade to a pale greyish which will make the rose and star stand out more.so i would say in a few weeks time the tattoo will be ready.I will deff post when everything is healed so you can see the final result!!!plus i need some retouch in the light blue areas.

guy sleeve tattoosMea Culpa played for me recently. They were amazing but the lighting was terrible so i made the best of it. I liked all three of these shots and so compiled them together. I think it works. I messed with colour balance for this and levels were tweaked more than usual for a slightly burnt, vibrant look maybe?
escher tattoo sleeveThis is the most challenging piece I have done so far this year (maybe ever?). It's basically a full sleeve of an artwork by M.C.Escher called "High and Low". I had a picture of it on my studio wall asking is anyone was interested in having it done and lo and behold Greg took it on.... The pictures here will be updated soon, as they don't show the white highlights or some refining here and there. As it was only a 2d picture I had to find a way of making it join up seamlessly whilst still flowing with the original perspective. It was hard work, and I don't think I'd change anything, I love it.

chinese sleeve tattooHere are the results of session one "the chest" This will be a full sweep of my chest covering up the Taurus on the left. The chest has thus far been the most painful but yet tolorable I chose a Foo Dog which is also know as an Imperial Guardian Lion or lion of Buddha. nautical sleeve tattoowell this is it.Thats how it looks today.but bare in mind that my arm is actually double the normal size as after 6hrs under a needle im very bruised and swollen,plus the background will fade to a pale greyish which will make the rose and star stand out more.so i would say in a few weeks time the tattoo will be ready.I will deff post when everything is healed so you can see the final result!!!plus i need some retouch in the light blue areas.

Given that she's got a picc line in her arm for the chemo drugs it's a real pain keeping the tubes and plugs in place, and this works perfectly.

I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was going to be THAT bad. It was aweful. Hopefully the shading/coloring won't hurt as bad. I'm guessing it will take AT LEAST two more sessions to finish it. At least it looks awesome though! It's going to be fabulous once it's finished!!

octopus sleeve tattooSome couples have date nights...we get tattooed together. :-) My parents jokingly tell Mike that it is all his fault that I am becoming 'heavily' tattooed. It really isn't, I've always wanted tattoos but he allowed me to finally let loose and start. You have to start somewhere and my somewhere was just over a year ago w/a cliche fairy on my back. 4 multi-sitting pieces later and I am not planning on stopping. My pirate ship is my latest and it now has 6 hours of base outline and shading and 3-4 more hours of color to be added. Estimated 6 hours and my half leg sleeve should be complete. I shocked myself this morning by feeling strong cravings for starting another piece, immediately. We are planning on heading east of the mountains during the last week of November or the first week in December for one last sitting for the year. It sure has come a long way from this . Disclaimer:

The chest has thus far been the most painful but yet tolorable I chose a Foo Dog which is also know as an Imperial Guardian Lion or lion of Buddha. leg sleeve tattooThese shots look a little funny because I took them myself and rotated them to be viewed easier. I sat for another 3 hours session, making this 9 hours on the ship and 6 hours on my mermaid. I have about 3-6 more hours to go to completely finish my leg sleeve and I cannot wait to see it finished. It has turned into a masterpiece that I did not even imagine could look as good as it does. My ankle is so swollen I know have a cankle. This morning I got out of bed and just about fell flat on my face. From lying down all night my skin tightened and because I was so swollen I couldn't flex my foot let alone put pressure on it. sleeve tattoos musicThe term messy would not suit a band like California's Suicide Silence better. In at the deep end records from across the pond this time on tour with the equally passionate Abigail Williams and the beautifully british blend of Misery, Sylosis, Many Things Untold and Eternal Lord. For such an intense band, almost math in places but keeping to true grind, the acts break down into onslaughts of brutal hammered guitars and amazing double kicks and blastbeats. Suddenly, it all cuts out and, the crowd, screams out like a choir along to the Family Guy quotes which introduce the next onslaught. Despite this dark and brutal showing of raspy throats and heavy, well, everything, the lead man of the show stands on the barriers, cheering thr crowd on continually making them feel reassured "trust me, we're gonna have a good time. This is going to be fun". And he doesn't disapoint. 9/10 show for
