hip tattoo sApril 13 Today is exactly one month minus one day from my 21st birthday. April 19th is Bicycle Day, but we won't have any drugs to do then. Sam told me that his friends from work, Danny and JC are coming over on 420 and they're going to make music together. That's good, because I like those kids and we never hang out with them. Last year on 420, Sam and I and Tim and Bethanie hung out at our apartment and celebrated "Act Like A Nigger Day." We drank 40s and smoked blunts. Even I smoked, and I hate smoking weed. I think that's the day we met Traz, who delivers drugs on a motorcycle. Last night, Bethanie came and picked me up and I hung out at her place. I'm moving in with her, but I still haven't told Tim. hummingbird hip tattoo30 Day Challenge: Day 14 Something different for my self portrait today. A part of me that few people see. That slight little etching above the waistline on my shorts is my 2nd of two tattoos. Everyone and their mother knows I have a Clemson tiger paw on my ankle, but not everybody knows I have a hummingbird on my hip. I drew this particular bird. She's hovering over a morning glory for a little sweetness. The reason I have it is because my first guitar was a Gibson Hummingbird. Okay, that's not entirely true. My FIRST first guitar was my mom's old Gibson, but the hummingbird was my dream come true. It is hard to find, and mine is straight from the 60's. I happened to come accross a dealer in downtown Chicago who had one, only one. My dad, being the wonderful dream-fulfiller that he was, took a little drive down there with me to Tommy's. chinese hip tattoosCherry Blossom Tree (95% complete) Original Piece by: Adam @ Adambomb Galleries 04/13/07 Some of the flowers still need to be shaded. I haven't decided if I want all of them pink and red or I want to leave some just red. The tattoo is still very tender, and my skin is still very puffy (!) it has just begun to scab, and the clouds are still taking on some of the color of my inflamed skin, so once it heals, they will be grey and the branches will stick out a lot more. The reds shouldn't be as intense either. This 3.5 hr sitting was awful. It was so painful, I had to stop before I could get the last 5% done. But it will give me sometime to think about the idea of keeping some of the flowers red. Once it heals, I will take some more pictures. My next sitting is scheduled in August, but it may take place earlier if someone cancels.

rose hip tatoosWOW, I haven't been on here for a while. It's been a quite hectic time with me. EVERYTHING happens at once. Well, this is my first, and NOT my last tattoo. It's a red rose on my hip. I got it because it's my middle name, my grandmother's name, and my AUnt / godmother's name. I wanted the MS awareness ribon also, but I heard white ink dosen't look good. I'm VERY happy about my tattoo, and I LOVE it. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought, so that was an extra plus. Also, this was taken the night I got it done, May 1st. SO that's why it's extra shiny, and you can still see some blood.

hip tattoos hummingbird30 Day Challenge: Day 14 Something different for my self portrait today. A part of me that few people see. That slight little etching above the waistline on my shorts is my 2nd of two tattoos. Everyone and their mother knows I have a Clemson tiger paw on my ankle, but not everybody knows I have a hummingbird on my hip. I drew this particular bird. She's hovering over a morning glory for a little sweetness. The reason I have it is because my first guitar was a Gibson Hummingbird. Okay, that's not entirely true. My FIRST first guitar was my mom's old Gibson, but the hummingbird was my dream come true. It is hard to find, and mine is straight from the 60's. I happened to come accross a dealer in downtown Chicago who had one, only one. My dad, being the wonderful dream-fulfiller that he was, took a little drive down there with me to Tommy's.
