chest half sleeve tattooHere are the results of session one "the chest" This will be a full sweep of my chest covering up the Taurus on the left. The chest has thus far been the most painful but yet tolorable I chose a Foo Dog which is also know as an Imperial Guardian Lion or lion of Buddha. dragon half sleeve tattooTa-daaaaaa! All done. I asked Billy about the eyes, if he was going to finish them as they were completely blank. He told me that traditionally, the eyes of Japanese dragons are left til last, he thinks there's some superstition that if you don't do them last the dragon will turn on its owner. Thankfully, we won't be anticipating any mad dragon incidents as the last two dots of this session were his eyes. So, whaddya think???
flower half sleeveThis is my new tattoo. It's a Japanese-style half-sleeve on my left upper arm [windblocks, waves, peony flowers, and cherry blossom flowers]. I hate to admit it, but this was one of the worst pains I've ever had--I actually cried. I didn't even cry with my other big one. I didn't even think I'd be able to finish the outline it hurt so bad. I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was going to be THAT bad. It was aweful. Hopefully the shading/coloring won't hurt as bad. I'm guessing it will take AT LEAST two more sessions to finish it. At least it looks awesome though! It's going to be fabulous once it's finished!!
