swallow tattoo with flowersFinally managed to get the most gorgeous cover-up done on the left side of my chest. It took three session, probably just over 10 hours and it had to have been the most painful one yet. Since it's a sizeable cover-up over an already large tattoo, there's scar tissue to deal with which makes the pain worse than "virgin" skin. There are a few touch-ups that need to be done, but for the most part - fini! Done by Teresa, the owner of www.electroladylux.com .

hippie flowers tattooit's october 10th, and the weather is still warm enough to make the baby hairs at the nape of my neck wavy... i'm not complaining, every nice day after the end of summer is a gift :) the gaussian blur filter (in photoshop) was used to adjust and blur out the background here...i don't think it's *really* a photomanipulation but i'm putting it in that set for now... i'm cutting it all off anyway!!

flowers swirls tattoosFor session #8 we outlined the tops of the trees & stars and added the purple cloud swirls. It doesn't seem like it would take that long, but this session was a full 3 hours bringing me to a total of about 22.5 hours. The artist of most of it is Stacey Sharp in Ronkonkoma, NY. The moon fairy at the top was done by Keir Wells at Gemini Tattoo in NE Philadelphia. The moon fairy is not counted as part of the 8 sessions/22.5 hours, that was done back in 2002. This little piece measuring 38 x 29cm is created on watercolour paper with a background of watercolour and wax, I then did my usual background pages and used them throughout the piece. The rose is my own shabby rose creation with water colour paint and ink. This piece tells a little of the time I have shared with Stevie and Scarlett, the tattoo images for both of them as Stevie is a tattooer and Scarlett has tattoos, the rose represents my Shabby room here in Scarborough Queensland which Scarlett created for me. The birds for the beautiful birds which visit the garden as I sit and sew on the front deck. My very own sun for the wonderful warmth, not only from the glorious sunshine here in the Sunshine State but also from Scarletts family who have been so kind and generous during my stay here. The tea cup for the never endi

It doesn't seem like it would take that long, but this session was a full 3 hours bringing me to a total of about 22.5 hours. The artist of most of it is Stacey Sharp in Ronkonkoma, NY. hippie flowersit's october 10th, and the weather is still warm enough to make the baby hairs at the nape of my neck wavy... i'm not complaining, every nice day after the end of summer is a gift :) the gaussian blur filter (in photoshop) was used to adjust and blur out the background here...i don't think it's *really* a photomanipulation but i'm putting it in that set for now... i'm cutting it all off anyway!!

flowers and swirls tattoosFor session #8 we outlined the tops of the trees & stars and added the purple cloud swirls. It doesn't seem like it would take that long, but this session was a full 3 hours bringing me to a total of about 22.5 hours. The artist of most of it is Stacey Sharp in Ronkonkoma, NY. The moon fairy at the top was done by Keir Wells at Gemini Tattoo in NE Philadelphia. The moon fairy is not counted as part of the 8 sessions/22.5 hours, that was done back in 2002. But it is healing quite nicely. There's a lot more to add to it, some shading at the bottom of the tulips; to really define it as a sleeve.
