flower butterfly tattoo designHere is a shot of my left arm that I inked up. I was very bored as you could imagine, so i let my mind flow and escape for a while... This is the outcome :)! Sometimes you just need to let yourself go, and do crazy things that make you smile. A variety of red, blue, pink, purple and silver inks into the skin sure does make me feel better. It took me about an hour and a half to finally say it was finished. Which isnt bad eh ? I will be submitting some other shots in which i have inked my friends too!

flower tattoos on hipWOW, I haven't been on here for a while. It's been a quite hectic time with me. EVERYTHING happens at once. Well, this is my first, and NOT my last tattoo. It's a red rose on my hip. I got it because it's my middle name, my grandmother's name, and my AUnt / godmother's name. I wanted the MS awareness ribon also, but I heard white ink dosen't look good. I'm VERY happy about my tattoo, and I LOVE it. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought, so that was an extra plus. Also, this was taken the night I got it done, May 1st. SO that's why it's extra shiny, and you can still see some blood.
flower half sleeve tattoosThis is my new tattoo. It's a Japanese-style half-sleeve on my left upper arm [windblocks, waves, peony flowers, and cherry blossom flowers]. I hate to admit it, but this was one of the worst pains I've ever had--I actually cried. I didn't even cry with my other big one. I didn't even think I'd be able to finish the outline it hurt so bad. I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was going to be THAT bad. It was aweful. Hopefully the shading/coloring won't hurt as bad. I'm guessing it will take AT LEAST two more sessions to finish it. At least it looks awesome though! It's going to be fabulous once it's finished!!

I think it would be really cool to look back in a year at these pictures and remember. Especially since at this time next year I'll be getting married. RSM had the story of her wrist tattoo today for her 365 so this is a blatant rip off of her idea. But it reminded me how cool it would be to do 365 again so here it is. This is the tattoo I got in Maui the day before we left. I joke and tell people I got it so my right hand wouldn't be jealous of the bling on the left. But really I got it because those nine days were the most romantic, most fun, most memorable days of my life (second only to giving birth) and I want to have something that I see every day to remind me how wonderful the experience was.

But really I got it because those nine days were the most romantic, most fun, most memorable days of my life (second only to giving birth) and I want to have something that I see every day to remind me how wonderful the experience was.

flower hip tattooWOW, I haven't been on here for a while. It's been a quite hectic time with me. EVERYTHING happens at once. Well, this is my first, and NOT my last tattoo. It's a red rose on my hip. I got it because it's my middle name, my grandmother's name, and my AUnt / godmother's name. I wanted the MS awareness ribon also, but I heard white ink dosen't look good. I'm VERY happy about my tattoo, and I LOVE it. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought, so that was an extra plus. Also, this was taken the night I got it done, May 1st. SO that's why it's extra shiny, and you can still see some blood.

japanese peony flower tatooThis is something i've wanted to do for about the last decade or so. I know my parents wlll loathe it, but i had to anyway. I'm a big geek about symbolism in things, and this carries a lot of symbolism for me. The Peony is a flower of May. It stands for happiness, prosperity, love and affection. Our son will be born in May, this was a sort of acknowledgment of that. Common in Chinese symbology for a peony is as a positive influence on a couple. Red is a life giving color, which is why i picked red as the color. The peony in Japan also has a bit of an audacious or adventurous attitude, which i guess is appropriate for a 29-year old guy that's about to be a father getting a big tattoo. I do apologize to my parents for getting this, but i do not regret my decision. It is a piece of art that carries a lot of meaning for me.

half sleeve flower tattooThis is my new tattoo. It's a Japanese-style half-sleeve on my left upper arm [windblocks, waves, peony flowers, and cherry blossom flowers]. I hate to admit it, but this was one of the worst pains I've ever had--I actually cried. I didn't even cry with my other big one. I didn't even think I'd be able to finish the outline it hurt so bad. I mean, I knew it was going to hurt, I had NOOOO clue that it was going to be THAT bad. It was aweful. Hopefully the shading/coloring won't hurt as bad. I'm guessing it will take AT LEAST two more sessions to finish it. At least it looks awesome though! It's going to be fabulous once it's finished!!

I think it would be really cool to look back in a year at these pictures and remember. Especially since at this time next year I'll be getting married. RSM had the story of her wrist tattoo today for her 365 so this is a blatant rip off of her idea. But it reminded me how cool it would be to do 365 again so here it is. This is the tattoo I got in Maui the day before we left. I joke and tell people I got it so my right hand wouldn't be jealous of the bling on the left. But really I got it because those nine days were the most romantic, most fun, most memorable days of my life (second only to giving birth) and I want to have something that I see every day to remind me how wonderful the experience was.

tattoo flower sleevethis is my new tattoo. its a geisha slitting her wrist with a miniature katana sword, with two koi fish coming up at her. there are japanese cherry blossoms all over, a lotus flower on my lower arm, and another flower on my inner bicep. this took about 8hrs to do. its just an outline for now and ill get some color in it later.

I got it because it's my middle name, my grandmother's name, and my AUnt / godmother's name. I wanted the MS awareness ribon also, but I heard white ink dosen't look good. I'm VERY happy about my tattoo, and I LOVE it. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought, so that was an extra plus. Also, this was taken the night I got it done, May 1st. SO that's why it's extra shiny, and you can still see some blood.
