blue bell tattooI was very happeh not only with the design and look of my tattoo but also with the atmosphere and the artists personality. There were a few points that hurt a bit more then others and I think thats more my own thing then anyone elses due to the fact that I talk with my hands I couldn't really talk and I tried too text my twitter but all those made me move a bit to much so I had a bit of a hard time taking my mind from the actual process. blue butterfly tattoo behind earMy first tattoo! This is an Eastern Tailed Blue . I wanted my tattoo to be based on something real. I first saw this beautiful, dainty butterfly at our son and daughter-in-law's property while Harry was on a photography expedition for butterflies. My tattoo was based on the photo in the Audubon field guide. It is usually very difficult to catch them with their wings open. When closed the underside of the wings is more gray. This photo was taken five days after the process. Still in the healing process.
