The Hebrew letter Shin is the first letter of both my first and and last names, in Hebrew. My feeling was the traditional Hebrew typography specimens for this particular piece would not work well and wanted this ink to hug my calf muscle on my right leg. That said, I designed a tribal-like tattoo for myself, but keeping with the Hebrew antiquity. The Shin is a powerful letter: my fave number is 3 the shin represents the number 300. It also means Shaddai another Hebrew name for God (Kabbalistic). The Shin can also mean "King over Fire". Click here for the Original Art.

78/366: March 18th (Desperately Seeking Razor)
I haven't shaved my legs since I got my tattoo a week ago... and its starting to show. Driving me nuts! For YEARS I didn't shave my legs at all. Let them grow all long and braidable. None of my lovers minded much either, so that was cool. But just in recent months I've gotten REALLY girly-fied. (I totally blame Tee for this! The girl and her yummy bath stuffs!) And being totally smooth all over is an every day work for me that I really enjoy. Right now that tattoo is in the scabby, crusty, gross stage, and there's not much to be done about it. But as soon as this bad-boy is healed I have a date with my Schick Intuition!.
