Taken in June of 2006 about 2 hours after the inking. I found this image on the net one day while searching for "butterflies". After I had the tattoo done I typed in 'butterfly tattoos" and this image was one of the first images that came up. Whoops, I guess I have a pretty popular butterfly tattooed on my body..

Butterfly Tatoo
Shelaire, my daughter got this tatoo...She said it was to remind her of me(because I have always loved butterflys) and how I have always been there for her. I feel that she is finding more and more meaning than that to it though..

My new tattoo!
So, it's my 33rd Birthday, and too celebrate we went and got a new tattoo! I love it!!.

HUGE IMPROVEMENT!! PLUS - just Leah now... notice the lavern L! Ha Ha! It's beautiful - just what I was hoping for. Even the scaring from before took color - hooray!.

I have taken many pictures of my whole backpiece, so I figured I'd focus-in on one of the individual components of the whole picture. Unlike my other fairies that were commercially-available images (tweeked to suit my taste of course), this fairy is an original drawn just for me by my tattoo artist Stacey Sharp . She does AMAZING fairy art. I am going to have more work done on my back tomorrow night (yay!) at the Lehigh Valley tattoo convention and then again in 2 weeks at the Philadelphia tattoo convention where we might actually FINALLY finish it!
