the two combined! there will be wind currents moving around the tree for the koi to swim/fly on. plus japanese looking clouds in the background. i forgot to put blossoms on the tree but alas, i think i got the point across. =] i loves it i think in the wood of the tree trunk i have the words "With our thoughts, we make the world." engraved. it is a quote by buddha.

The most widely known mandala form in Japan is the Ryokai Mandala (Two World Mandala). Sometimes also pronounced as Ryogai Mandala. It is composed of two separate mandala, which together represent the central devotional images of Esoteric Buddhism in Japan.
