ink japanese This is the Tattoo Drawing - Geisha
This is the second part of my first tattoo that I will get started on Jan. 20th, 2008. This is going to be down my rips and just below my waist line. The dragon in the other drawing will be right above this on my chest, shoulder, and arms. All on my left side. The artist is Mark Galloway from The Mercy Seat in Kansas City..

ink japanese Sorry this is Japanese tat 1
Sorry this is a crappy pic, but people have been asking to see it - so until I can get a proper pic taken, here it is. This is the tattoo on the left side of my back, about 14" tall. It is a Japanese haiku (poem) which says: "A flash of lightning. The sound of drops among the bamboo". (don't worry, it definitely does say that, I had it designed by a Japanese calligraphy master and I checked the translation myself) I had it added to with Japanese waves and traditional cherry blossom flowers. It fits in with the theme of flowers across my body, and eventually I may have bamboo leaves coming across the left from my ribcage :-) Tattoo artist: Ken Patten of The Tattoo Station , Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.

ink japanese This is the Tattoo Drawing - Dragon
This is the first half of my tattoo that will be started on Jan. 20th 2008. This is the dragon that is looming over the geisha on the other photos. The dragon is blowing down on the geisha and she is fighting the wind trying to keep hold of her umbrella. Make sure you look at the other drawing to get the full idea. The drawing is about 85% done. The artist is Mark Galloway from The Mercy Seat in Kansas City..
