Taken in June of 2006 about 2 hours after the inking. I found this image on the net one day while searching for "butterflies". After I had the tattoo done I typed in 'butterfly tattoos" and this image was one of the first images that came up. Whoops, I guess I have a pretty popular butterfly tattooed on my body..

It was only after I had taken about six photos of her neck that I lowered the camera and said, "There is a monkey in the butterfly!" She and my brother both said at the same time, "It's Curious George!" On closer inspection of this photograph, I see that Curious George shares some real estate with a couple of gruesome skulls. A bizarre but lovable combination..
Lena started her first tattoo
This is a pic from the second stage of my friend lena's first ever tattoo. The girl goes all out! It still needs the swirls and stuff. I can't wait for it to be done.

365 Days - Day 08 - One Day I'll Fly Away
I love that fact that my tattoo is ambiguous - that it can take people years before they realize what it is. But sometimes I can't resist the urge to give the secret away. (One day my Photoshop skills will improve enough for me to make this picture what it should be. Today is not that day.).
