This is close-up of a tattoo belonging to a lovely young lady training me for my last, short assignment here in Afghanistan. She's going home on leave - I'll be gone when she comes back. Someone will replace me when it's time for me to go. She'll train them better when she gets back from Cali. Then she has to head out to a dangerous place where I almost went .... Confused? :P I'll basically try to keep everything from going to shit while I am in charge..

Sniper Movie stills by Alexandria LaNier Best when viewed large. This story behind this shoot is a little interesting. First off I was offered the opportunity to photograph movies stills for another movie. The only thing is the director of photography wanted to make sure I knew what I was up against. I needed sample movie stills and fast! So I called around for a realistic location. Of course the location would determine the style of shoot. We lucked out when Hollywood Sports Park let us use their awesome paint ball courses. With a fabulous location like this it didn't take long to figure out the theme of the shoot. It also didn't take long to gathered up some friends that were more than happy to play army with me. As you can see the location really helped in making the photos look like a real movie shoot. Your probably wondering if I got the part as a still photographer. Yes, I did.
