this is one of my fave photos i've taken! i never liked the harsh lighting and strong red & yellow tones in the original photo. at the time i took it i knew nothing about photoshop! so i thought i'd re-edit and see what i could come up with!.

My first maternity shoot Strobist * cactus wireless trigger/receivers * 430ex with shoot through umbrella, 1/2 power, camera left, behind models * vivitar 285 hv with shoot through umbrella 1/2 power, camera right, behind models (ie each one 45 degrees onto models.... man I cant describe set ups to save my life - should have photographed it!).
Miss you Love you Like you
My mom used to go to work early in the morning for Boeing. Every time she left, she'd kiss me good night and say I love you. I told her "Miss you Love you Like you". I had to explain to her that I'd always miss her, and I of course loved her since she was my mother, but I also liked her, and that meant the most. Now with my daughter, since she lives so far away, I tell her the same thing. This tattoo is for them. Miss you love you like you..
9.12.2008, Tattoo in honor of my parents
Got it done on 9.Dec.2008 In honor of my beloved parents that have always been there for me and always will. Without them I wouldn´t be who I am! The dove represents their marriage, (35years allready!) and the heart that the dove carries in form of a ribbon symbolizes the love that they give me every day!.

New tattoo for my mom, obviously. She got a kick out of it. She's my heart and soul. Without her, I would be lost, if not dead. She means more to me than any other person on the planet and she's the only one I trust. She's the most beautiful, giving, selfless person I have ever met [but hey, who doesn't say that about their mom?] I find traditional "mom" tattoos to be rather funny, so I thought I'd get one when I visited her in Arizona. It only took about an hour, and it didn't hurt at all. ALSO! I have about 2047834 new photos that I just got developed and I'll probably be uploading a new one every day for the next few weeks. Check em out. I'm just starting to get more used to film, and I like it so much more than digital already..
