My first, and NOT my last, Tattoo!
WOW, I haven't been on here for a while. It's been a quite hectic time with me. EVERYTHING happens at once. Well, this is my first, and NOT my last tattoo. It's a red rose on my hip. I got it because it's my middle name, my grandmother's name, and my AUnt / godmother's name. I wanted the MS awareness ribon also, but I heard white ink dosen't look good. I'm VERY happy about my tattoo, and I LOVE it. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought, so that was an extra plus. Also, this was taken the night I got it done, May 1st. SO that's why it's extra shiny, and you can still see some blood..

Tattoo Rose
My second ever attempt at creating an image that was part black and white and part colour. I think this works quite well, but I may need to practice some more :p.

I keep catching a glimpse of it in the mirror and thinking "what's that?" - LOL! My stomach/hip tattoo done 2 weeks ago, now healed very nicely. We still have to go back in and put a soft drop shadow under it to make it look like it's sitting on the skin. My best friend Kevin Totton is training to be a tattoo artist (after 8 years as a graphic designer and illustrator...he is hugely talented) so I'm the main volunteer. He's shaping up pretty damn well :-).
