Collar Bone Healing Up Good
This is from tonight. Collar bone is much better. Just a little bruising up my the horn on the right side..

This is the first step of getting the tat, thin the forest a little..

The first set of shading/color filled in. Somewhere around this time, the tattoo artist tells me that the most painful places to get a tat are the inner thigh and the neck. The next most painful spot is the chest plate. That would be right where this tat is.... I was thinking, "I started this, I am going to finish it." I had to take a break though..

My first (and currently only) tattoo. It did hurt. I won't lie to anyone about that. And it got worse for me when he went near an area that had already been inked. So when the tattoo artist put multiple colors (layers) in the jewel, I was a bit touchy about it. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. I would recommend the tattoo artist to anyone contemplating a tat. I'll include a shot after the tat heals..

A good, but overexposed, shot of the completed tat..
Ledt Arm 1st Session
Here is the result of my 1st session with Don at Art Freek Tattoo. His skills are amazing and I am very pleased. Notice the old tribal coverup? (damn grunge era lol) I opted for a somewhat traditional Japanese dragon and Don created from scratch this piece with orchids, water and fire. This is the 1st of many sessions as I am doing both arms and chest..
Lower back tattoos have become more and more accepted throughout recent years. Want to have one too?
