Logo - Indie's Bakeshop
This was designed for a friend of mine who's been making a lot of cupcakes lately. The original idea was always to make a cupcake in the shape of a skull with cross bones behind it. It had to be colorful, with key describers being "cutie" and "bad ass". It's always had a tattoo-graphic sorta look to it since my first drafts, so I decided on adding the ribbon banner for the name. As for the type, I would've went for a tattoo sorta font, but it just wasn't scalable, since this was most likely to be made into stickers. I needed a good solid font which had a random cute feel to it. Also, some of the sprinkles are positioned in a specific way to portray something, but it shouldn't be immediately obvious. lol. The underground world uses tattoos to show membership of gangs. These are called Criminal Tattoos.
