my new ring flash arrived today :-) at the widest on the D50 the ring can be seen.. could be an interesting effect. Got more added tattoo wise, all the blue areas are new and I got the mermaid finished off..

Day 104 - October 7
This weekend has not been the best since I've been cranky and blue. Every now & then I get in these depressive slumps - it's not cool, I don't like it, but it's something I deal with. To try and make myself get over it I'm devoting this portrait to 2 things about myself I actually like - my unmanageable, thick, wavy hair & the artwork that scars me..

Mama's Fairy
This is my mother's tattoo that she just got this past monday (09/10/07) at Ace Custom Tattoo in Charlotte, NC. It was done by the lovely Margaret Moose. It is also a custom design drawn for my mother. Each little butterfly represents me, my sister, & my dad. :).

HUGE IMPROVEMENT!! PLUS - just Leah now... notice the lavern L! Ha Ha! It's beautiful - just what I was hoping for. Even the scaring from before took color - hooray!.

Me 94/366
I have taken many pictures of my whole backpiece, so I figured I'd focus-in on one of the individual components of the whole picture. Unlike my other fairies that were commercially-available images (tweeked to suit my taste of course), this fairy is an original drawn just for me by my tattoo artist Stacey Sharp . She does AMAZING fairy art. I am going to have more work done on my back tomorrow night (yay!) at the Lehigh Valley tattoo convention and then again in 2 weeks at the Philadelphia tattoo convention where we might actually FINALLY finish it! My sister helped pay for this for my 21st. It is inspired by a Brian Froud drawing. YES it is meant to be different sizes (before you ask). NO hating please!.
