I'm a sucker for tree tattoos
DO NOT COPY as a tattoo for yourself! That is a SHITTY thing to do. I don't know who this was, but nice ink! Taken with Matt 's camera. Stumptown Comics Fest 2007 Portland, OR.
after the dust storm
The digital version of this shot . View On Black i'm back - slammed at work and quite exhausted. 'real' life seems surreal. i didn't take that many photos – i spent most of the time absorbing one of the most astounding events i've ever witnessed. other flickr burners striking photos from Burning Man 2007 john curley has great shots and commentary here .... as does sgoralnick.

Sky's new Tree Tattoo

Bird in a tree tattoo
New tattoo I got on my other forearm..
Desert Rain
This is a composite of 7 images and a lot of adjustment layers etc. - the ground with the car. - the mountain - the tree - the sky - the birds - me with the umbrella(shot in my livingroom) - the rain(made in photoshop on six different layer) Right before the shoot I took a shower with the shirt on so I was wet as hell, but it don't show much on the image though. The idea with the rain under the umbrella I got from Aaron Nace. Be sure to visit Aaron Nace's flickr site . He is the best Photoshop dude I've seen here on flickr. Really inspiring stuff..
Darwin's tree sketch tattoo
This is a modification of Darwin's sketch of the tree of life (http://www.flickr.com/photos/cpurrin1/213140594/), and I just had 2000 temporary tattoos made from it. If you've already e-mailed me about the previous tattoo challenge, you'll get some of these, too. And if you're lusting after some of these tattoos for yourself...well, I could be bribed. Same conditions as before folks. Don't be shy, now -- using your body to sell evolution is just the right thing to do, and you won't regret it. And while you're at it, maybe there is a volunteer that can _also_ arrange a bunch of dead bugs at the tips of the branches. Something phylogenetically appropriate. Sex appeal PLUS a good cladogram would be amazing. You'd need a collaborator to help arrange the insects and take the photograph, of course. Ticks might stay in place, though -- that would be an entertaining shot. Here's a frog on a tatt.
