New tattoo for my mom, obviously. She got a kick out of it. She's my heart and soul. Without her, I would be lost, if not dead. She means more to me than any other person on the planet and she's the only one I trust. She's the most beautiful, giving, selfless person I have ever met [but hey, who doesn't say that about their mom?] I find traditional "mom" tattoos to be rather funny, so I thought I'd get one when I visited her in Arizona. It only took about an hour, and it didn't hurt at all. ALSO! I have about 2047834 new photos that I just got developed and I'll probably be uploading a new one every day for the next few weeks. Check em out. I'm just starting to get more used to film, and I like it so much more than digital already..

So today I spent pretty much all day getting my arm tattooed. It was done by one of the Finely Tuned Assassins guitarists, Nick (www.myspace.com/nick_g1987 ). And I love it! It's not finished yet though...still have one fairly big space to fill and lots of little ones, plus things like some of the feathers on the owl (which is soooo cute) need colouring in and the tips of the leaves and random tiny little bits on flowers etc. I'm not having it all coloured in though because I like it as it is. The chinese lettering around my wrist is going to be totally filled in as a solid black band I think, perhaps with a coloured line underneath it all the way round, or some coloured dots or something...so it's in keeping with the rest.
