*cate* had the brilliant idea of posing my arm in amongst the curly willow branches in Golden Gate Park -- but please note, her polaroid version is a million times better!!.

just done this evening: a fantastically beautiful spiral on my left forearm, courtesy of the lovely Idexa at Black and Blue Tattoo -- the perfect early birthday present for myself! thank you Idexa!!! she drew it on my arm freehand, and it turned out so incredibly perfect....

OK...so now I know how hard it is to take a photo of my own arm, LOL. I thought I'd give you a close-up of my ongoing full sleeve, it's been completely outlined but the 'colouring in' is only halfway...quite a few sessions to go already! 55 - Wrapped in clingfilm?!
24th February 2007 Sorry if the title scared you...me in clingfilm (ceramwrap) is not a thought to be subjected to over breakfast, haha. This however, is my arm in Bepanthen nappy cream and clingfilm - the best way to keep a new tattoo clean and treated. As you can see my elbow is now hugely swollen and quite bruised (the inner/outer elbow in the slightly brighter blue is where the work has been done), and is very, very painful - more so than having the actual tattoo done. It's all worth it in the long term...honest!!.
93 - Not so funny bone
3rd April 2007 Today's tattoo session wasn't as bad as expected, considering I had the elbow done. It was the kind of pain you get when you bump your elbow, or 'funny bone' and you laugh even though it hurts :-) As you can see, it hasn't bruised or swollen unlike when I had the inner elbow done!.
